  In 2003, the parents of Chen Yuhuan, president of the Kunshan Taiwanese Investment Enterprise Association Youth Association ("Taiwan Youth Association"), set up a factory in Kunshan.

In the process of taking over his parents’ business, he increasingly felt that Kunshan is a very suitable place for business development. “In the past ten years, the company has grown by almost 20% every year, and sales revenue has increased by nearly 10 times.”

  Among the Taiwanese in Kunshan, about 40% are 18 to 45 years old, and this is on the rise.

Compared with their parents, the field of entrepreneurship among Taiwanese youth in Kunshan has now expanded further, extending from traditional manufacturing and electronics industries to emerging industries, high-end manufacturing, modern service industries, and modern agriculture.

  "Kunshan has a full range of Taiwanese food stores, and we can find all the snacks we ate when we were young. In addition to the convenience of life, there are many people in Taiwan, and there are also many resources for entrepreneurship and employment." Chen Yuhuan introduced that Kunshan's continuous improvement of cross-strait youth entrepreneurship carriers also provides entrepreneurs in Taiwan young people. It brings a lot of convenience and can reduce a lot of the "pain" of entrepreneurship, without worrying about registration, capital docking, patent services, human resources and other issues.

  At present, 5 local youth employment and entrepreneurship bases on both sides of the strait in Kunshan have introduced 106 Taiwan-funded projects, 4 Taiwanese talents were selected as national-level talents, 1 was selected as innovative talents of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and 7 were selected as Jiangsu double-creation talents.

  As Taiwanese intern college students and expatriate Taiwanese youths coming to Kunshan to build a fast track to integrate into Kunshan, the Kunshan Taiwan Youth Association has activities almost every week.

"The same sports preferences will also allow young people from both sides of the strait to gather together and become a new force in Kuntai integration." Chen Yuhuan said.

  In order to further deepen the integration and development of industries across the Strait, Kunshan initiated the establishment of a Taiwanese business development fund with a total scale of RMB 5 billion at the meeting, mainly engaged in private equity investment, encouraged cross-strait capital joint ventures, and supported the transformation and development of Taiwanese enterprises and Taiwan’s youth in Kunshan for innovation and entrepreneurship .

  Zhang Xuelin, general manager of Suzhou Yudian Information Technology Co., Ltd., believes: "This will help the development of the enterprise." Zhang Xuelin, who came to Kunshan with his family to settle down since childhood, witnessed the rapid development of Kunshan.

  Guo Dianyi, general manager of Kunshan Yidiantian Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., also cooperated with his mainland partners to set up a parent-child farm in Jinxi, Kunshan, extending from planting organic fruits and vegetables to nature education and hand-made experience.

"We introduced Taiwan's dietary education, nature education, and farming education, combined with local natural conditions and traditional customs, to create more opportunities for children to come into contact with nature, learn about agriculture, and leave pastoral memories."

  Guo Dianyi recalled: “During the entrepreneurial process, the local government not only provided subsidies to popular science education bases, but also helped to finance loans to solve the practical difficulties of the farm partners, so that we could invest in project construction with greater peace of mind.” He is currently planning to develop sustainable agriculture To explore and promote.
