Magdeburg (AP) - Handball Bundesliga club SC Magdeburg has won its last game before the World Cup break.

Against TSV Hannover-Burgdorf a 33:25 (19:10) was achieved on Christmas Day.

The SCM's best throwers on Saturday evening were Zeljko Musa (6) and Omar Magnusson (6/4), while Fabian Böhm (5) was the most successful at Hannover.

In the quick game, Hannover changed goalkeeper after ten minutes in view of the SCM's 100 percent throwing quota (9: 5/11), brought Domenico Ebner.

It didn't get any better, the SCM extended their lead (14: 6/21.).

Because Hanover was weak, especially in attack, the SCM break management was clear.

After the break, the SCM took it a little easier, and missed the consistency in the attack.

After Hannover cut back to seven goals, the SCM picked up the pace again and increased to ten goals (24: 14/41.).

That decided the game.
