His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, received a letter addressed to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, from his brother, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sister, it included the greetings of His Majesty to His Highness, and an official invitation to attend and participate in the 41st meeting of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, which will convene in the capital Riyadh on the fifth of next January, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum affirmed the UAE’s keenness on the leadership, government and people To consolidate the bonds of brotherhood and tolerance among the peoples of the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, and to consolidate the fraternal relations that are indissoluble, regardless of the faults or pitfalls that are destined to disappear.

This came during the reception of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in Dubai yesterday noon, the Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Dr. Nayef Falah Al-Hajraf. To achieve comprehensive integration at various levels, especially the economy, security, defense, and other areas that would bring good, stability and happiness to peoples and member states.

His Highness, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, affirmed the keenness of the UAE, the leadership, government and people, to consolidate the bonds of brotherhood and tolerance among the peoples of the GCC countries, and to consolidate the fraternal relations that are indissoluble, regardless of the faults or pitfalls of which they are destined to disappear.

It is expected that the upcoming summit of leaders will focus on the steps that must be followed, in order to overcome the negative consequences and effects of the Corona pandemic on the Gulf Arab economies, and to revitalize these economies, leading to their full recovery.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Secretary General of the Cooperation Council, also touched on the 21st Arab Media Forum, which was held virtually, where Dr. Al-Hajraf praised the interest and patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for this annual event, which reflects His Highness’s vision of the importance of media And his role in the march of construction, renaissance, and defense of just national and humanitarian causes.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Aviation Authority and Supreme Chair of the Emirates Airlines Group, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, and Minister of State for International Cooperation, Reem Bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Director General of the Court of His Highness the Ruler of Dubai, Muhammad Ibrahim Al Shaibani, and General Director of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai, Khalifa Saeed Suleiman.
