Midday sales are often synonymous with large crowds.

Therefore, the Swedish Public Health Agency came up with the recommendation that the mid-day sale should not take place to reduce the spread of infection.

But there is still no absolute ban on mid-day sales, which means that the stores will have red prices.

- It's about toning down the sale, controlling for digital alternatives, spreading the sale in the store and most importantly - having routines to avoid congestion in the store.

The stores at Tuna park have been working to secure their stores for a long time so they have good routines and are well prepared, says Veronica Gustafsson.

Increases surveillance

At Tuna park, extra guards will be deployed to keep track of the number of visitors.

- Should there be congestion, we therefore have the opportunity to temporarily close entrances and lock in customers, says Gustafsson.

Can work remotely

At the shopping center, the number of seats on the carpet square has been increased, the cleaning frequency has been increased and all play areas have been closed.

Customers also have the opportunity to shop at a distance through, for example, home delivery.

- Together with the employees in the mall, our guards and the customers in the mall, we can create a safe mid-day shopping, she says.
