Wiesbaden (dpa / lhe) - Since the planned award ceremony of the Natourale nature film festival in Wiesbaden had to be canceled due to corona, the organizers have published a film with the winners.

The television presenter Tamina Kallert leads through the unusual awarding of the awards, the winning films are presented and the filmmakers are represented by video messages.

"In every crisis there is also an opportunity and we are currently filling it with new creative ideas," said Natourale director Andreas Ewels.

The award ceremony planned for November had to be postponed due to the corona lockdown.

In the film version, which has been available on the Internet since Saturday evening, you can see, among others, Hesse's minister of culture, Alexander Lorz (CDU) and Wiesbaden's mayor, Gert-Uwe Mende (SPD).

According to the organizers, the Natourale is a film festival for documentaries, reports as well as advertising and feature films on the subjects of nature, the environment, travel and tourism.

The multi-day festival is now to be held in spring 2021.

The “Hessian Lions” are awarded at the Natourale.

This year's winners include “Red Fish” by Dmitry Shpilenok (best camera) and “Going Nuts - die crazy world of croissants” by Yann Sochaczewski (best director).
