Mainz (AP) - The federal chairman of the aid organization for crime victims Weißer Ring, Jörg Ziercke, has appealed to parents and teachers to take a closer look when young people send compromising recordings of classmates via smartphone.

Many freely and exuberantly posted offensive pictures of friends, said the former head of the Federal Criminal Police Office of the German Press Agency in Mainz.

This often excludes people, has the character of an insult or stalking or corresponds to the criminal offense of disseminating youth pornographic images.

"This is a serious problem and it will get worse."

Quite a few behavioral problems in young people are caused by pictures posted on the Internet.
