Bockenem (dpa / lni) - Because of a disregarded right of way rule, two cars collided in the Hildesheim district on Christmas Day and three people were slightly injured.

A 78-year-old was traveling with her car on Landstraße 493 and had ignored the right of way of a 70-year-old at Upstedter Kreuz in Bockenem, as the police announced on Friday evening.

The two cars collided.

The elderly woman subsequently rammed another traffic sign with her car and then stopped with her vehicle in a field.

The 70-year-old, his 62-year-old passenger and the 78-year-old came to the hospital.

The damage is said to be around 15,000 euros.
