“A decision has been made to introduce a day off on December 31st.
A corresponding official document on this is planned to be published today, ”the press service said.
It is specified that this decision concerns employees of the executive bodies of state power of the Bryansk region.
At the same time, the authorities of the region recommend to act in a similar way to the heads of other state bodies and local self-government bodies, as well as to organizations and enterprises.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin recommended that the heads of Russian regions make December 31 a day off.
On December 21, Nevskie Novosti reported that December 31 had been declared a day off in St. Petersburg.
