Dubai Police, represented by a team of divers in the Maritime Rescue Department, managed to return possessions to an Asian, represented in a "wallet containing an ID, bank cards, a vehicle key and two phones", which fell into the "depth of the waters of the Hatta Dam" while practicing the activity of kayaking.

In detail, the head of the Maritime Rescue Department at the Ports Police Station, Lieutenant Colonel Ali Abdullah Al-Naqbi, said: “An Asian man contacted the Command and Control Center management at number 999, requesting the assistance of Dubai Police for him, after his possessions fell while practicing rowing, so the marine rescue patrol stationed at a police station moved Hatta to locate the location of the fall of the holdings in the dam, where the search plan was determined and the divers began to go down to the depths of the dam to search, and were able to find the holdings and return them to their owner. ”Al Naqbi added:“ The craftsmanship of the divers and marine rescue teams in the Dubai Police enabled them to perform the task in an accurate and successful manner, despite The vision in the water was unclear, and the lack of sunlight due to the clouds that formed in the area poses a challenge to the search, as well as the cold water, ”noting that this operation was the second in two consecutive days, as the team managed to extract the belongings of an Arab woman who lost her wallet in the dam. Al-Naqbi called on visitors to tourist areas, to take the necessary measures to preserve their personal belongings, during activities that require physical movement, or any activity that may expose the belongings to loss or fall.
