- We will be open until twenty o'clock due to the alcohol ban, says Gustav Hector, co-owner of Café Deluxe in Växjö.

The staff is hit hard

Normally, about 40 people work at the restaurant before a homecoming evening.

Tonight only a few work.

- We are maybe about 10 people working tonight and we do not expect a major visit really.

But we are open so that there is somewhere to gather, says Gustav Hector.

Krögers in Kalmar also closes at twenty o'clock and does not expect any major rush.

- It's not much evening to talk about.

You must not be four in one and the same company and alcohol ban applies, these are drastic decisions.

These are enormous contrasts compared to how it was last year and now, says Martin Bergvall, CEO of Krögers.

Extra police personnel

The police in Växjö think it will be a quiet evening, but in Kalmar they are equipped with extra staff as usual.

- We will have extra police in all municipalities even if there are restrictions.

We are charged for the evening, says Daniel Lundh, on-duty preliminary investigation leader at Kalmar police.
