The number of deaths in the state rose by 65 to 2396. This means that Hesse has 194 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants nationwide in the past seven days.
According to the intensive care register of the German Interdisciplinary Association for Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine (Divi), 468 corona patients were last treated in hospitals in intensive care units in Hesse (as of Thursday 12.15 p.m.).
That corresponded to 27 percent of all occupied intensive care beds.
251 Covid-19 patients were ventilated.
Throughout Hesse, a total of 2035 intensive care beds were occupied by 1704.
