Gelsenkirchen (dpa / lnw) - A 24-year-old was arrested by the police after a fight with several men in Gelsenkirchen.

Several people between 20 and 30 years of age got into an argument, the police said on Friday.

When the 24-year-old left after the argument on Thursday evening with a car and at least two people involved, the police stopped and checked the men.

It turned out that the driver's English driver's license had forgery features.

His car was registered in Poland.

According to the police, the man himself could not show a permanent residence in Germany.

The 24-year-old was provisionally arrested.

The other men from Essen and Gelsenkirchen involved in the dispute had been released.
