On the night of December 24, the first Il-76 aircraft flew from the airfield of the city of Rostov-on-Don to the city of Simferopol, carrying out the transfer of one special-purpose medical unit of the Southern Military District.

Later, the Ministry of Defense reported that the second and third Il-76 aircraft also flew from the airfield of the city of Rostov-on-Don to Simferopol.

It is clarified that a total of 100 military personnel and about 100 tons of materiel will be deployed as part of the medical unit.
