For this year's Prime Minister's Award, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, developed and put into practical use a medical device "pulse oximeter" that measures the oxygen concentration in blood, which is used to grasp the medical condition of people infected with the new coronavirus. On the 24th, an award ceremony was held at the Prime Minister's Office, and Prime Minister Suga handed a certificate to President Hirokazu Ogino.
