Los Angeles (AP) - US superstar Beyoncé wants to support people in the USA who are threatened by the housing crisis due to the corona pandemic with her foundation “Beygood”.

"Beyoncé gives $ 5,000 grants for individuals and families who are affected by foreclosures or evictions," says the foundation's website.

The singer wants to distribute a total of half a million US dollars to families who have been hard hit by the corona pandemic.

It is the second phase of an aid package from the “Beygood” foundation.

Previously, 250 small businesses were selected for a $ 10,000 grant.
