Today, Thursday, a new explosion hit the gas pipeline west of the city of Arish in North Sinai (northeastern Egypt), the second of its kind in a month in the same region.

Activists reported, on social media, that the explosion occurred in Sabika, which is located east of the city of Bir al-Abed.

Social media users shared video clips and photos from the site of the gas pipeline explosion on the international road in the city of Al-Arish in North Sinai.

The images showed the flames rising in the area from this evening until nightfall.

The gas pipeline was hit in the village of Rawda, west of Al-Arish, and filmed from a distance of 40 km ((the hand of the perpetrator and the Shah of the aggressor were paralyzed))

And before last November 20, an explosion occurred in the main line carrying natural gas between Egypt and Israel, also in the Sabika area.

At that time, the Egyptian army spokesman, Colonel Tamer Al-Rifai, described the blast as the border, stressing that no injuries or losses were recorded.

Also at that time, the Israeli newspaper, Yediot Aharonot, reported that Wilayat Sinai, the Egyptian branch of the Islamic State, announced that it had claimed responsibility for the attack through its Telegram account.

Over the past years, the organization has repeatedly targeted the gas pipelines in North Sinai, in addition to repeatedly attacking the Egyptian army and security forces there.
