Donald Trump is not done with his mandate as he proved again this Tuesday, December 22.
By totally or partially pardoning about twenty people, the current tenant of the White House shows once again that he remains the master on board.
After the
pardon granted
to his former national security adviser Michael Flynn, guilty of lying to the FBI in the case of Russian interference, Donald Trump also decided to pardon three other elected Republican also cited in this file.
Four soldiers pardoned
His former advisor during the 2016 presidential campaign
George Papadopoulos
, also cited in this case, was also totally pardoned, which raised a real outcry in the ranks of the Democratic Party.
But it is especially the pardons granted to four former soldiers that are controversial.
They were accused of having killed fourteen civilians in Iraq in 2007 while working for
the private company Blackwater.
One of these four soldiers had even been sentenced to life imprisonment.
A controversy which will not prevent Donald Trump from continuing since, according to close collaborators cited by the
Washington Post
, other pardons are still planned.
