The death of a person with corona on a US flight

The passenger provided false information about his condition.

The coroner's office in the US state of Louisiana said that tests showed that a man who died on a plane bound for Los Angeles was infected with the Corona virus, and that the virus is responsible for the death of this man.

This incident caused great discomfort, especially since the patient was assisted by passengers on the plane and a number of flight attendants, who gave him cardiopulmonary resuscitation to help him breathe.

The deceased, Isais Hernandez, is 69 years old and was traveling with his wife, who heard her telling the nurses that her husband showed symptoms of infection with the Coronavirus before traveling, and that the virus tests that he conducted had confirmed his infection.

And the company added that Hernandez said in a disclosure sheet asking travelers to fill it out before travel that he did not feel symptoms of the virus and that he had not taken a positive test for infection.

The US airline United Airlines said it was not aware of the injury of Hernandez, who had a respiratory crisis in the air, and received help from flight attendants and travelers, but died after arriving at the medical center due to "acute respiratory failure as a result of infection with the Covid-19 virus," as the forensic report said. .

The company put four flight attendants who were on the flight in quarantine, and called the passengers to inform them of Hernandez's injury.
