  • Coronavirus crisis The Transparency Council orders Health to publish the names of the committee of experts that advise the management of the pandemic

The President of the Government will present next Tuesday the conclusions of a report that analyzes the progress in fulfilling the commitments made in the investiture session and throughout 2020. It is an evaluation commissioned to nine expert professors and professors and with broad curriculum in the "methodological analysis of the accountability exercise", most of which are aligned with the postulates of the left and the gender ideology sponsored by the coalition Executive.

Pedro Sánchez thus covers the end-of-year conclusions that he will present at the traditional end-of-year press conference, established by former president José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero and continued by his successor Mariano Rajoy, with an independent academic stamp.

The "accountability" report that Sánchez will present on the 29th, after the last Council of Ministers of the year, has been prepared by the Department of Planning and Monitoring of Government activity of the cabinet of the Presidency of the Government in collaboration with the different ministries.

In its preparation, work has also been done with the analysis of a group of prestigious professional experts in the field of Social Sciences (Daniel Innerarity, María Bustelo, Ismael Blanco, Cristina Elías, Cristina Monge, Manuel Villoria, Carles Ramió, Paula Rodríguez and Javier Lorenzo) from different Spanish public universities.

Sánchez will render accounts, as specified by the Secretary of State for Communication, before the public as a whole and, specifically, before the agents of civil society "more specialized and interested in the field of good governance and transparency.

On August 4, the President of the Government appeared to explain, despite the obstacles imposed by the pandemic, how some of the objectives established in the so-called "Progressive Coalition Agreement" were beginning to be achieved, signed, despite initial suspicion, between the PSOE and United We Can to smooth the investiture and the formation of a new Executive.

On this occasion, Sánchez also anticipated some of the forecasts that he was already handling for the second half of the year.

Now, the president will be in a position to affirm the achievement of the first of his objectives - the approval of the General State Budgets for 2021 - with which the continuity of the legislature is guaranteed thanks to the support of the nationalist, pro-independence and nationalist forces.

Likewise, it may present, in addition to the measures to alleviate the economic effects of the pandemic by establishing a "social shield" -Minimum Vital Income, Minimum Interprofessional Salary, Ertes ...-, the approval of a new Education Law that repeals the called the Wert Law, the regulation of Euthanasia and a plan for the implementation of aid from the European Union to overcome the Covid crisis.
