“

On August 20, 2020, a healthy 44-year-old man suffered from behavioral disturbances ten minutes after take-off from a Russian domestic flight.

He started to sweat profusely and vomit before losing consciousness

”.

It is with this description that the article published in the scientific journal

The Lancet

begins

.

It is based on data provided by Berlin doctors who treated Alexei Navalny after his transfer to Germany.

The Russian opponent welcomes this publication in which he sees medical evidence claimed for weeks by Moscow.

A recovery due to his good health

After the first symptoms, Navalny fell into a coma, his heart rate slowed sharply, and his body temperature dropped to 33.5 degrees.

His good state of health before the poisoning probably favored his recovery,

" explain the scientists who wrote the article, who thereby reject the claims of their Russian colleagues on Alexeï Navalny's poor lifestyle.

The latter was the victim of severe poisoning caused by the Novichok group nerve agent developed by the Soviet Union in the 1980s.

On Monday, December 21,

Navalny trapped a

suspected

member

of a Russian secret service team responsible for his poisoning attempt during a phone call.

And on Tuesday, Moscow responded with countermeasures to European Union sanctions against Russia linked to the affair.
