Kiel (dpa / lno) - In the case of the Ombudsman Samiah El Samadoni, the Higher Administrative Court has prohibited the President of the State Parliament, Klaus Schlie (CDU), from granting members of the Council of Elders access to the prosecution's investigation files.

These contained personal data, the use of which is only permitted under the relevant civil service regulations if and to the extent that the disciplinary proceedings require this, the court announced on Wednesday.

The responsible disciplinary senate did not see such a need in its decision on Tuesday.

The decision is final (Az. 14 MB 2/20).

The Kiel public prosecutor is investigating Samadoni on suspicion of betrayal.

The head of the Eutin Police School, Maren Freyher, filed a complaint against Samadoni in May and filed criminal charges against unknown persons.

The contents of a confidential conversation between the two are said to have ended up with a police union member against whom the Kiel public prosecutor has brought charges on suspicion of treason.

He is said to have repeatedly stabbed a journalist inside the police.

A spokeswoman for the state parliament did not want to comment on the decision of the higher administrative court on Wednesday.
