Viersen (dpa / lnw) - Two people were injured in a head-on collision between two cars in Viersen on Wednesday.
A 79-year-old woman who, according to witnesses, was on the way in the late afternoon without lights, got into oncoming traffic, the police said.
Her car collided with the oncoming car of a 60-year-old man from Viersen.
The 79-year-old from Willich was seriously injured, the 60-year-old slightly.
Both came to a hospital.
It was still unclear why the driver got off her lane.
