Su-30 fighter climbed to intercept Japanese Air Force aircraft

"To identify the air target and prevent violation of the state border of Russia, a Su-30 fighter was taken into the air from the air defense forces of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces of the Eastern Military District," RIA Novosti said.

As specified in the department, violation of the state border of Russia was not allowed.

Earlier, the Russian Su-27 fighter flew to escort the US reconnaissance aircraft over the neutral waters of the Black Sea. The Russian fighter's crew identified the aerial target as a US Air Force RC-135 strategic reconnaissance aircraft and escorted it.
