Lübbecke (dpa) - The handball players of the SC DHfK Leipzig have suffered a setback in the Bundesliga.

After three wins in a row, coach André Haber's team lost to GWD Minden on Tuesday evening with 20:23 (10:13).

The best Leipzig thrower was international Philipp Weber with six goals.

The guests made a lot of inaccuracies at the beginning on the offensive and failed repeatedly because of Minden's goalkeeper Malte Semisch.

So they quickly ran after a deficit that was six goals at times.

Four Weber hits in a row brought SC DHfK to 14:16 after the break, but that was nothing more than a flash in the pan for Leipzig.

The hosts quickly got the game back under control and in the end even won safely.

In the last Bundesliga game before the start of the handball world championship on January 13th, the Leipzig team will receive the leaders SG Flensburg-Handewitt on Sunday at 2.40 p.m.
