The Greek migration minister Notis Mitarakis has denied reports that babies were bitten by rats in the Kara Tepe refugee camp on Lesbos.
The incidents were fabricated, said the Ministry of Migration in Athens on Monday afternoon.
Even a German doctor on Lesbos could not confirm such incidents to the German press agency on Monday evening.

The organization Doctors Without Borders is not active in the camp itself, but works outside, said the Ministry of Migration.
