The Malian army is accused of war crimes.

This is the conclusion of a report drawn up by a UN commission.

A report that also mentions crimes against humanity perpetrated by armed groups.

The document lists some 140 abuses sometimes involving soldiers between 2012 and 2018.

Cocoa production was at the center of concerns in Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire earlier this month.

The two countries accused Hershey's, the giant American chocolate maker, of not paying the special premium to improve the lives of planters.

This premium, imposed by Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana in 2019, does not seem to be sufficient for cocoa workers.

Since then, the bodies responsible for the cocoa sector in both countries claim to have obtained satisfaction.
