The two police officers will continue to be under surveillance by the judiciary and remain out of service.
Pending trial, the two police officers are barred from contacting Michel Zecler or anyone else who may be linked to what happened.
They are also not allowed to carry handguns or stay in the area where the assault took place.

The four police officers seen in the clip are now all suspected of crimes.
The beating took place in connection with an ongoing debate in France about a planned law that would restrict the right to publish pictures of police officers on duty.
Since then, tens of thousands of French people have demonstrated against police violence and against the proposal.
