As the official representative of the State Bureau of Investigation of Ukraine Olga Chekanova told UNIAN, Glazunov is suspected of violating the rules for preparing and conducting flights.

The court granted the prosecution's motion, arresting the commander of the military unit without the possibility of paying bail.

Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergey Drozdov is also involved in this case.

In October, Kiev reported that as a result of decoding the black boxes of the fallen An-26, it was established that one of the engine control system units had a failure.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal ordered to suspend the organizers of the An-26 training flight for the duration of the investigation.

Military aircraft An-26, on board which were seven officers and 20 cadets of the Kharkiv National University of the Air Force named after Kozhedub, crashed on the evening of September 25 when landing in the Kharkiv region.

The bodies of 25 dead were found at the crash site, and one more died in the hospital.

One cadet survived.
