China has also participated in frequent exercises, including large-scale military exercises conducted by Russia in the Far East two years ago, and the two countries are deepening their military ties.

According to the South Korean side, there are 15 Russian military aircraft, two of which have passed near Takeshima in Shimane Prefecture, where South Korea claims sovereignty.
