It has been raised that the number of corona19 cumulative confirmed cases in the United States will exceed 20 million within this year.

CNN broadcast reported on the 22nd local time that the cumulative number of patients could reach 20 million before the new year as the number of confirmed coronaviruses in the United States increased by 1 million at intervals of the last 4 to 5 days.

According to the Johns Hopkins University statistics, the cumulative coronavirus confirmed in the United States on the 21st exceeded 18 million, and the death toll was close to 320,000.

The Washington Post said, "There were an average of 217,000 new cases every day in the United States last week. This means that every 0.4 seconds a new infected person came out."

In particular, California, which has the largest number of patients among the 50 US states, is expected to exceed 2 million cumulative patients sooner or later.

Intensive care unit admission rates in hospitals across California are now saturating at 98%, and medical breakdowns are happening everywhere.

California has set up temporary field hospitals across the state, including Sacramento, to decentralize the flooding of patients, and Los Angeles County is also considering an extreme measure of'medical distribution'.

'Medical ration' refers to focusing treatment on patients with a high probability of surviving among critically ill patients when it is determined that the hospital is unable to provide the same level of medical care to all patients due to the overflow of critically ill patients.
