Rheinstetten (dpa / lsw) - An attentive neighbor in Rheinstetten caught a burglar in the act - at least the man thought.
He observed someone entering an apartment through a window on Monday night and sounded the alarm, the police said.
The house was then surrounded by emergency services.
The burglar turned out to be a 15-year-old son of the family.
The young person is said to have stepped outside the door shortly, but it slammed behind him.
Since he didn't have a key with him, he quickly chose the way through the unlocked window.
