London (AP) - Roger Federer has won the ATP award for the most popular tennis professional for the 18th time in a row.

The 39-year-old Swiss received the most votes in the fans' online voting, as the professional organization ATP announced.

Traditionally, at the end of the year, the so-called ATP awards are presented in various categories.

Federer holds a lonely record.

The Serbian Novak Djokovic (33), who won four Grand Slam titles, is at the top of the ATP rankings at the end of the year and received the award as number one in the men's tour.

The US Open champions Mate Pavic and Bruno Soares are number 1 in doubles.

The Spaniard Rafael Nadal (34) was honored with the "Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship Award" after his 13th triumph at the French Open.

The Canadian Vasek Pospisil (30) is the comeback player of the year.

"Most Improved Player of the Year", voted by the ATP players, was Russian Andrei Rublev (23).

The 17-year-old Carlos Alcaraz from Spain was named “Newcomer of the Year” and Frances Tiafoe (22) from the USA was honored with the “Arthur Ashe Humanitarian Award” for his social commitment.
