US President Donald Trump's campaign has appealed to the Federal Supreme Court against rulings by the Pennsylvania State Supreme Court to extend voting by mail by 3 days.
Trump's campaign says the Supreme Court's change of mail voting in the last presidential election period violates Article 2 of the constitution.
Several states have extended voting by mail due to the high turnout as a result of the outbreak of the new Corona epidemic (Covid-19).

In a statement from the campaign, Trump's attorney Rudy Giuliani said the campaign had asked the Supreme Court to overturn three rulings by the Pennsylvania State Court regarding the rules for mail-in voting.

Biden’s victory was confirmed by all US states, and Biden’s victory was recently approved by some Republicans, weeks after Trump was allowed to publish false allegations of widespread fraud.
Through the lawsuit, the Trump campaign is seeking to nullify Biden's victory in Pennsylvania and allow the Republican-controlled state legislature to determine the state's winner.
On December 11, the Supreme Court rejected a lawsuit filed by the state of Texas and supported by Trump to annul the voting results in 4 states, including Pennsylvania, which Biden won.
According to Joshua Douglas, professor of election law at the University of Kentucky, the petition is "worthless" and will not prevent Biden from taking office on January 20, adding that the court will close the file quickly.
