The Paris Bourse suffered on Monday, like most European markets, and lost 2.43%, victim of concerns about the mutation of Covid-19 in the United Kingdom which forced many nations to suspend their air links with the country.

The CAC 40 index dropped 134.50 points to 5,393.34 points, its biggest drop in a session in nearly two months.

Markets also plunged across Europe, from London to Frankfurt to Milan, and fell sharply in mid-session on Wall Street.
