The instructions from Heimerkerking and Youtuber Fynn Kliemann are extremely creative: his hair is sucked in with a vacuum cleaner and cut using a template.
Joshua Otto from Berlin copied it and is enthusiastic: "This way you get all your hair to one length, nothing itches or scratches".
The 25-year-old has already cut his hair like this several times and doesn't want to let a professional go on.
The Berlin hairdressing guild is critical of the trend.
