Königs Wusterhausen (dpa / bb) - A woman rescued her neighbor in Königs Wusterhausen (Dahme-Spreewald district) from a burning house.

The 64-year-old resident did not want to leave the family house in the Kablow district when the fire broke out on Saturday, the police reported on Sunday.

The reason for this was initially unclear.

The 37-year-old reacted quickly and, according to officials, pulled him out of the building.

He was the only one in the house when the fire broke out in the bedroom.

The house is no longer habitable.

The cause of the fire was initially unclear.

The police did not rule out a technical error.
