Nonnweiler / Wadern (dpa) - A man was attacked and seriously injured by a wild boar in his living room in Saarland.
The animal entered the house on Saturday through a patio door that was only ajar, said the police in Wadern.
When the house owner tried to scare it away, it attacked him and trampled him down.
He was taken to hospital with bite wounds.
The incident occurred in a side street in the middle of a district of Nonnweiler.
After the attack, the wild boar ran away.
The police couldn't find it anymore.
