While the Parcoursup site opens on Monday, final year students will be able to take advantage of the holidays to reflect on their academic orientation and take a closer look at the training offers as well as the selection criteria.

Registration will open on January 20.

If the long-awaited Christmas holidays have started for the students, those in Terminale will still have to take advantage of this time of rest to think about their future, and more precisely their orientation.

Indeed, the Parcoursup site opens Monday.

Each student will therefore be able to take the time to go to the platform to find training courses, look at the selection criteria for each, and then discuss with his family to develop his project.

A common competition to become a veterinarian

In the news department this year, for those who want to become a veterinarian, no need to go through a preparatory class.

They can try their luck by taking a joint competition.

160 places will be available for this first year.

Also new for DUTs, which become BUTs (university bachelors of technology), and now take three years instead of two.

However, the DUT does not go away.

Finally, if you are fond of computer science, and you want to try a preparatory class, a new path is created this year: the MP2I (mathematics, physics-chemistry, computer science and engineering).

Think about a plan B

It will be possible to make wishes from January 20 until March 11.

Important advice, even for those who have known what they want to do for a long time: do not focus on a single path, but think about a plan B. Another advice: take care of the revision of the specialty exams of the bac mid-March, since this year, the marks will be included in the selection file.
