8.6 million viewers followed the live broadcast on TF1 of the Miss France 2021 election, on the night of Saturday to Sunday, thus achieving the best audience for this program since 2006, TF1 said in a press release.

The channel achieved an audience share of 41.5% on average on the show, she said.

Viewers were as many as 10.4 million watching the ceremony at one point.

A year ago, the election of Miss France 2020 had gathered 7 million viewers with a peak of 8.3 million, at the time of the coronation, previously indicated TF1.

It was Amandine Petit, Miss Normandy, who was elected Miss France 2021, during the ceremony which took place in Puy-du-Fou in Vendée.

A 2021 edition which marked the centenary of beauty contests in France, but without an audience in the room due to the health context.

The young woman succeeds Clémence Botino, Miss France 2020.
