Schwerin (dpa / mv) - After a two-week forced Corona break, the volleyball players from SSC Palmberg Schwerin have resumed training.

“It was difficult to stay motivated and focused all the time.

We are so happy to finally be able to train together again », said captain Gréta Szakmáry in a club announcement on Sunday.

The total of seven infected - five players and two people from the team environment - had no or only mild symptoms, according to the message.

At the beginning of December, the routine corona test after returning from the Champions League tournament in Italy had five positive test results with three players and two team members from around the team at the time.

The two Bundesliga games on December 12th at Dresdner SC and on December 19th against Allianz MTV Stuttgart had to be postponed.

According to the club, the game will start again on January 9, 2021 with a home game against NaWaRo Straubing.

The home game against Stuttgart will be rescheduled on January 14th (8.15 p.m. / Sport1).

The alternative dates for the Bundesliga games against the Rote Raben Vilsbiburg (originally December 5th) and at Dresdner SC are not yet perfect.
