Prime Minister Stefan Löfven's Christmas speech was partly about Christmas, loneliness and community.

Partly about the corona pandemic.

- It was probably a classic Christmas speech with a Christmas theme from beginning to end, says Mats Knutson, SVT's domestic policy commentator.

Unlike other speeches Löfven gave during the year, this did not contain any pointers or exhortations regarding how the Swedish people should handle the corona crisis.

- He had no account whatsoever of the strict restrictions that were presented last Friday and which are probably questionable among many Swedes, says Mats Knutson.
