The fire started at 02.40 on Sunday night and about 50 people living in 18 properties were evacuated within the cordoned off area.
Shortly after 11.00 on Sunday, large parts of the roadblocks were lifted.
- The acetylene bottle in the garage has a risk of explosion, but since the entire garage has burned down, the bottle is now under the roof which provides some protection.
But it is above all the typography, ie the forest and the height differences in the area, that makes us assess that it is not a risk for those who live in the houses anymore, says Daniel Kaissidis, operations manager at Södertörn's fire protection association.
It can still explode and then the risk remains towards road 57 which is still kept closed.
Works with water cannons and drones
Because there is a risk of explosion, the fire brigade has worked passively on the site.
- We do not go to the fire site but have water cannons and must also have drones that guard the site.
The building has collapsed but the fire has not spread further, says Lennart Meijer, at Södertörn's fire service.
According to the police, no person was injured during the incident and there is no suspicion of crime.
