Lage (dpa / lni) - A 24-year-old man hit a tree with his car in Lage (County of Bentheim) and was seriously injured.

As the police announced on Sunday, the man from Uelsen lost control of his car on Saturday afternoon for an initially unexplained cause.

The car came off the road and crashed into a tree.

The young man was taken to a hospital by rescue helicopter.
