This came on the occasion of announcing the agenda for the 19th session of the Arab Media Forum, organized by the Dubai Press Club hypothetically this year, on the 23rd of this December, given the current global situation related to preventive measures in the face of the "Covid-19" pandemic, while the forum will have the participation of Lviv Of government and media leaders from the region and the world.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said: “Since its launch, the Arab Media Forum has aimed to come up with perceptions that help Arab media to develop and advance, and there is no doubt that the region’s media bears a great responsibility in this delicate stage in our region, and indeed the whole world.

Therefore, he needs a coherent message that increases the opportunities for dialogue and promotes the process of development and development, while this message is not complete without an honest and influential speech on the Arab, regional and international levels.

His Highness added: “We want the Arab media to be an influential and positive contribution that supports the steps of the peoples of the region on the challenging path of development, and we also want it to be the first choice for the Arab recipient to answer the questions that revolve in his mind about key issues and files, by creating development paths. Taking the region’s media to the highest ranks of global competitiveness ».

His Highness indicated that it cannot be said that our entry into 2021 represents a normal transition in the Arab media sector.

The world has changed and will continue to change in the future due to the tremendous progress in communication and information technologies, and the entry of the world into what is known as the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which obliges those in charge of media institutions in the Arab region to keep pace with this inevitable change, and urges them to find creative ways and adopt technical solutions that guarantee them Continuing to fulfill its roles and achieve distinction in a highly competitive world.

The Arab Journalism Award crowns the winners in a virtual ceremony
