Berlin (dpa) - Two types of the dessert Lünebest - "Sweet Wave" have been withdrawn from the trade because they may contain a food germ.

The pathogen Bacillus cereus could affect health, it said in a consumer information published on Saturday.

Within a few hours, nausea and vomiting or diarrhea and abdominal cramps can suddenly occur.

Affected are the products “Sweet wave raspberry with vanilla sauce” and “Sweet wave woodruff with vanilla sauce” - with the best before date January 15, 2021.

Consumers can also identify the products affected by the recall by the DE-NI 53053 EG identity code.

Hochwald Foods' desserts were sold in Bremen, Hesse, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia and Schleswig-Holstein.
