The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine informs about it.
"As a result of the pirate attack on the STEVIA ship off the coast of Nigeria on December 16, eight crew members were captured, including six citizens of Ukraine," Hromadske is quoted as saying.
It is noted that the ship owner is an Albanian company.
Ukrainian diplomats are taking response measures.
In November, the Russian Embassy in the Republic of Benin and the Togolese Republic confirmed the abduction of four crew members from the tanker Agisilaos, among whom was a Russian.
