The relevant person in charge said that it was the first time that such a large number of centralized public exhibitions showed Mao Zedong's telegram manuscripts.

  [Explanation] The special exhibition is located in the special exhibition hall on the first floor of the Xiangshan Revolution Memorial Hall, covering an area of ​​more than 1,000 square meters.

In addition to the 202 telegram manuscripts drafted by Mao Zedong during the Fragrant Mountain period, visitors to the exhibition can also watch 62 (sets) of precious cultural relics and more than 50 cherished historical photos on display.

  It should be said that this is the first time that Comrade Mao Zedong’s telegram has been exhibited in such a large scale.

These telegram manuscripts are not only important decisions issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, but also important historical documents, but also exquisite (calligraphy) works of art.

  [Explanation] In order to allow the audience to better view the content of the telegram and appreciate the calligraphy, the exhibition has set up a manuscript teletext inquiry system. At the same time, 35 "guide readings of telegrams" are set up to interpret important figures, important events, and historical background.

  For example, the telegram issued by Comrade Mao Zedong about marching into the country and deploying troops throughout the country actually involves the entire deployment of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.

In addition, on September 8, 1949, Comrade Mao Zedong, in the name of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, issued a telegram of Zhu Jie to the whole army and people from all walks of life. The scope of this telegram was also very wide, and it was clearly stated in the telegram. In the past four months, the Chinese People’s Liberation Army has achieved outstanding results inseparable from the support of the people.

  [Explanation] It is understood that the telegram manuscripts displayed this time have been published in authoritative publications such as "Mao Zedong Chronicles" and "Mao Zedong Collected Works", and are highly simulated copies provided by the Central Archives.
