The Parisian handball players won their thirteenth match on Saturday during the 14th day of the French Championship, by winning widely at home against Dunkirk (30-20), and prancing at the top of the standings while Aix takes the 2nd place.

Paris SG, author of a faultless this season, has 26 points, eight points ahead of its first pursuer, PAUC, winner of Tremblay on Saturday night, who is three games behind the Parisians.

The surprising promoted Limoges, whose match against Montpellier (4th, 16 pts, 10 matches played) was postponed, completes the provisional podium (3rd, 17 pts).

In Coubertin, in a one-sided match, PSG was able to rely on a solid collective in its shots (75% success), including Elohim Prandi who did not miss any of his attempts (6/6).

Parisian goalkeeper Yann Genty was also impeccable, with 15 saves and more than 43% efficiency.

Seriously, "this is the watchword before each match (...) We will be able to fully focus on what happens after Christmas and try to win a title", assured the right winger of PSG Benoit Kounkoud, at the microphone of beIN Sports.

Now it's time for PSG to prepare for the “Final Four” of the 2019/2020 Champions League, scheduled for December 28 and 29 in Cologne, a competition that the capital club has never won.

For their part, the Aixois easily won at home (32-27) against Tremblay, the red lantern of Starligue.

With a seven-goal lead at the break (19-12), the PAUC mastered the second period with great efficiency, like goalkeeper Wesley Pardin with 16 saves (40%) or Kristjan Kristjansson, top scorer of the meeting with eight goals.

Thierry Anti's players have one of the best ratios in the Starligue, nine wins in ten matches played, behind PSG, the only team to have beaten them, on the first day.

Tremblay will have to wait until 2021 to hope for a first victory this season and relaunch in the race for maintenance.

After his victory in the last seconds against Toulouse on Wednesday, Saint-Raphaël still had to wait until the last moments to experience a happy outcome in Istres (32-30), in the south-eastern derby.

Five matches of this 14th day have been postponed.
