Google, a major IT company in the United States, has begun efforts to make it possible for more than 90,000 people, including employees in the United States, to receive free PCR tests every week.

The aim is to prevent the spread of infection from asymptomatic people by making it easier to get tested.

In the United States, the cumulative number of infected people is more than 17.5 million, which is the highest in the world, and the spread of infection continues.

Against this backdrop, Google began a weekly, free PCR test on more than 90,000 employees and trainees across the United States on the 17th of this month.

If the applicant applies, the test kit will arrive at home from a private testing company within 3 days, and if you collect the sample from your nose and send it back, you will be notified of the result in 48 hours.

Google says that the infection has spread to asymptomatic people, and aims to prevent the spread of the infection unknowingly by making it easier to be tested, and it is not obligatory. However, we encourage our employees to undergo weekly inspections.

It also means that non-US employees will be eligible from next year.
