Munich (dpa / lby) - The last weekend of Advent in Bavaria usually starts foggy and gray.
According to forecasts by the German Weather Service (DWD), the sun will only shine in the mountains, in the western Alpine foothills and temporarily in the Bavarian Forest on Saturday.
The temperatures in the permanent fog sometimes only rise just above freezing point, in the Allgäu the maximum values are around ten degrees.
In the night of Sunday, according to forecasts by the DWD, frost and smoothness can be expected locally.
Away from the Alps it gets foggy, in Lower Franconia it is raining.
The lowest values are down to minus five degrees in the valleys of the Alps and three degrees in Würzburg.
On the fourth Advent the weather in Bavaria remains almost unchanged.
Under the fog and high fog it should become cloudy.
Clouds are coming in from the west.
It should rain lightly in the northwest.
In the Alps, according to meteorologists, it will be sunny again with up to nine degrees.
In the rest of the Free State, temperatures are up to two degrees in Regensburg and five degrees in Nuremberg.
